These terms govern use of the State of Exotic online store and purchases from State of Exotic ("we", "us", or "our"). By visiting the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

1. The Store

State of Exotic sells clothing, headwear, stickers, and related merchandise. Shopify provides the online commerce platform. You must provide accurate information when placing an order, use the website lawfully, and not interfere with its security or operation.

2. Product descriptions

We aim to describe products, colours, sizes, designs, and materials accurately. Screens, lighting, print placement, and normal manufacturing variations can cause minor differences from photographs. Check individual product descriptions and size information before purchasing.

3. Made-to-order production

Many products are prepared after purchase by production or fulfillment partners. Production time comes before shipment, and items in one order may be dispatched separately. See our Shipping Policy for details.

4. Orders and payment

Product prices, available currency, taxes, delivery charges, and any discounts are displayed through the store and checkout. Payment is handled through the offered payment providers. If we cannot fulfill an order or identify a material pricing or availability error, we may contact you and cancel or correct the affected order, with a refund for any unfulfilled items as required by law.

5. Shipping, duties, and delivery

We ship to destinations supported for the selected products. Available shipping services and charges appear before payment. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed. Customs duties, import taxes, or carrier clearance charges not collected or included at checkout may be payable in the destination country.

6. Returns, cancellations, and your rights

Our Refund Policy explains cancellations, returns, damaged or incorrect items, refunds, and applicable withdrawal rights. Made-to-order production does not automatically remove mandatory statutory rights. Nothing in these terms limits any rights that cannot be excluded by applicable consumer protection law.

7. Intellectual property

State of Exotic branding, original designs, graphics, photography, written content, and artwork belong to State of Exotic or their respective owners and licensors. You may browse and share links for personal use. Commercial reproduction or resale of protected content without permission is prohibited except where the law allows it.

8. Third-party services and links

Our store may link to shipping carriers, social platforms, payment services, or other third parties. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply. We are not responsible for third-party sites outside our control, subject to applicable law.

9. Website operation

We aim to maintain a reliable and accurate website but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. Nothing in this section excludes responsibility for legal obligations, negligence, misrepresentation, defective goods, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Updates and governing law

We may update these terms by publishing a revised version on the website. The terms applying to an existing purchase remain subject to the disclosures and consumer protections applicable at the time of purchase. These terms are generally interpreted under the laws of Ontario, Canada, and applicable Canadian federal law, without limiting mandatory consumer protections in other jurisdictions.
